Policies and Procedures

DEPOSIT, PAYMENT & CANCELLATION GUIDELINES

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT: A deposit of $50.00 per person is required within 7 days to confirm your reservation for extended motorcoach tours. Final payment is due 35 days prior to departure. Deposits for air, rail and cruise tours are $500.00 per person (includes the cost of the Trip Cancellation/Interruption Travel Protection Plan) and are due within 7 days to confirm your reservation. Final payments for air, rail or cruise tours vary for each tour, but are usually 60 days. Reservations made less than 35 days prior to departure require full payment upon reservation. Badger Tour & Travel accepts VISA, MASTERCARD, DISCOVER or AMERICAN EXPRESS for your convenience.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS ON MOTORCOACH TOURS: Motorcoach tours are fully refundable up to 36 days prior to departure unless an exception is made by our supplier. Between 35 days and 15 days a $50 administrative fee will be charged for processing any cancellations in addition to any prepaid tour expenses that are nonrefundable to us. At 14 days prior to departure, all motorcoach tours are nonrefundable. For your convenience and protection, we recommend the purchase of the Optional Travel Protection Plan. There are no refunds given on unused portions of any tour in which you may be participating.

* AIR, RAIL & CRUISE DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT INFORMATION: All rail, air and cruise tours require a $500.00 per person deposit (which includes the cost of the Trip Cancellation/Interruption Travel Protection Plan) and is to be paid within 7 days of making your reservation unless an exception is made due to our supplier's deposit requirement. Final payments are due 95 days prior to departure unless an exception is made due to our supplier's final payment requirement.

*CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS ON AIR, RAIL & CRUISE TOURS: All payments for all rail, air and cruise tours will be refunded when cancellations are made 96 days prior to departure, unless an exception is made by our supplier. Because of the costly process of handling tour cancellations, no matter what the reason, there is a $50.00 per person administration fee for cancellations. There are no refunds given on unused portions of tours or on show tickets. Deposits for rail and air programs ticketed by BT&T will be refunded 96 or more days prior to departure. Regardless of the reason for canceling, cancellations are a very costly process. Therefore, the following fees will be assessed for cancellations:

Cruise:
96 days or more prior to departure Deposit refundable
95 - 61 days prior to departure 50% of total cost
60 – 1 days prior to departure 100% of total cost

Air:
60 - 1 day prior to departure 100% of tour cost

Trip Cancellation/Interruption Passenger Protection Plan
is included for air, rail and cruise tours.

motorcoach tours and is strongly recommended.

RESPONSIBILITY: These tours are arranged and operated by BT&T who acts only as an agent for such other parties, firms or corporations providing services herein. The suppliers providing travel services for BT&T's tour programs are independent contractors and are not agents or employees of BT&T. BT&T is not responsible for the willful or negligent acts and/or omissions of such suppliers or of any air carriers and/or cruise lines or their respective employees, agents, servants, or representatives. This includes, without limitation, their failure to deliver - or their partial or inadequate delivery of services. All coupons, receipts, and tickets are issued subject to the terms and conditions specified by suppliers, air carriers, and/or cruise lines. The tour participant agrees that neither BT&T nor their agents shall be liable for any injury, damage or loss to baggage or any passenger's belongings for any reason; any damage loss or injury caused by weather or climactic conditions, fire, government actions or terrorist activities, earthquake, social or labor unrest, accident, delay, bankruptcy, acts of God, or irregularity which may be occasioned by reason of defect in any vehicle or for failure to carry out such arrangements as mentioned; nor for the misconduct of such other parties. BT&T reserves the right to withdraw or make changes and alterations as may be found necessary for the proper handling of said tour; and BT&T is not responsible to any person for loss of time, expenses, money or anything else when a change in scheduling is made for members of the tour. BT&T reserves the right to decline, to accept, or retain any person as a member of any tour or to cancel or alter the tour without notice. The payment of the required deposits and/or any partial or full payment for reservations on a tour shall be deemed and constitute full knowledge, acceptance and consent by the participant to all clause provisions.
